Cottage Flowers and Gifts guarantee you’ll love our products! If you, or the recipient, are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we’ll exchange it, replace it, or refund the credit card used for the purchase—no questions asked.* (See below for full explanation of our guarantee).

We, at Cottage Flowers and Gifts are prepared to solve your concerns in a timely manner. Please contact our Customer Service Center within 72 hours of receipt of flowers, gift baskets, or gift items by one of the following methods:

Our Flower Guarantee

Grower Direct Fresh Flowers

  • All Cottage Flowers and Gifts grower direct fresh flowers are unconditionally guaranteed* to arrive fresh and beautiful every time you order. If you, or the recipient, are not 100% satisfied with the product quality upon arrival, we will replace it free of charge.
  • To ensure that your fresh flowers arrive in a timely fashion, please check that all information entered on the order form is complete and accurate. We MUST have a local phone number, where the recipient can be reached, if further delivery instructions are required. All of our grower direct fresh flowers are delivered next day by Overnight Courier. All orders have a signature release that enables the courier to release the shipment at the requested location without a signature (if deemed to be a safe location). This may not apply to apartments, hospitals, schools, and companies, where a signature may be requested. Ultimately, it is up to the courier whether or not to leave the package.
  • It is important that the recipient of this beautiful gift carefully reads and follows the directions outlined on the “Care Information” card, included with each gift box. This care information is designed to supply your recipient with the ability to enhance the life of your gift for as long as possible. The care information is also available from our web-site.

Florist Delivered Flowers

  • Cottage Flowers and Gifts guarantees* that your florist delivered flowers will be fresh and beautiful.
  • If you, or the recipient, are not 100% satisfied with the product quality upon arrival, we will replace it free of charge.
  • Please be sure that you have provided us with a correct delivery address. We require a local phone number, in case we need to reach the recipient, for further delivery instructions.

Dried/Freeze-dried Floral Products

  • All Cottage Flowers and Gifts dried/freeze-dried floral arrangement, baskets, and wreaths, are unconditionally guaranteed*. If you, or the recipient, are not 100% satisfied with the product quality upon arrival, we will exchange it, or refund the credit card used for the purchase. Credit will be issued upon receiving your returned merchandise. (Please see instructions for returning items.)
  • Some dried/freeze-dried products are shipped by U.S. Post Office-- Priority Mail or Parcel Post. (This will be noted on the product page.) Please be sure that we have a correct shipping address. All shipments sent through the Post Office will be insured, and have a delivery confirmation.

Additional Information

  • If your florist delivered or grower direct flowers were not delivered or attempted on the day that you requested, then your delivery fee will be waived. (Please note that we do not schedule Sunday deliveries, as it may not be available in certain locations.)
  • Due to the nature of florist and grower direct products, we are not responsible for flowers that are left outdoors, in business delivery rooms, offices, or in other environments where heat can become an issue.
  • Please note: cottageflowersandgifts.net is not responsible for delays in florist delivered arrangements, or shipped grower direct products caused by severe weather conditions, acts of God, or adverse national security events, and therefore cannot reimburse delivery fees on such orders.

* This guarantee applies to orders for which we have received complete and accurate delivery information.

* Any problems must be submitted to our customer service department within 72 business hours of receiving all products.

Returns

To return gift baskets or gift items to Cottage Flowers and Gifts, please repack the item/items in the original packaging (if possible), and follow these simple steps:

  • Contact our Customer Service Center by one of the above methods.
  • Write down the gift return number and address given to you by the Customer Service representative.
  • Send the gift basket or gift item to us--please be sure that you have written the GR (gift return) number on the outside of the box.
  • For your security, please return your gift basket or gift by an insured courier (e.g., FedEx, UPS, or USPO-- Parcel Post) and retain your receipt. This will protect you in case the gift is damaged or lost in transit.
  • If you are returning an item because it is damaged, defective or not the correct product, Cottage Flowers and Gifts will gladly refund the shipping charges incurred.
